Rule 3: Good editors and reviewers will be objective about your work.
The quality of the editorial board is an early indicator of the review process. Look at the masthead of the journal in which you plan to publish. Outstanding editors demand and get outstanding reviews. Put your energy into improving the quality of the manuscript before submission. Ideally, the reviews will improve your paper. But they will not get to imparting that advice if there are fundamental flaws.
- Regla 1: Lee muchos artículos.
- Regla 2: Se objetivo con tu trabajo.
- Regla 3: No olvides buscar buenos editores y revisores.

Eso sí, que el referee no esté trabajando en lago muy parecido a lo tuyo, que te lo tira para atrás por el motivo más absurdo que se te pueda ocurrir

Estoy de acuerdo contigo, si los revisores trabajan en algo parecido, pero de otra forma lo van a tirar por tierra porque lo suyo es mejor. Adiós a la objetividad. Y si no trabajan en algo parecido, los comentarios pueden ser tan penosos que te quedas preguntándote durante un rato si han entendido el artículo o lo han mirado en la fecha límite de cualquier manera. Así que no sé que es mejor… En mi corta experiencia, no creo en la objetividad, les ha gustado o no, lo han entendido o no. Eso es lo que cuenta al final.
